Hair thingys

Just saw this and thought it was too cute.. waiting for some hair to be able to put some cute hair clips in Avery's hair!!

One down and how many more?

Ok so in my previous post I had stated that Avery had slept with us on vacation so I now had to break her of it at home. So last night was good. I nursed her at about 9:30 to about 10ish she burped like a football fan on his 16th beer. She got a bit fussy but then she was good after a few old man farts and snuggled up for sleeping. I had her drifting off as I walked over to the crib. the boppy was in place the blanket was on the boppy ready to fold over her. I laid her down she looked at me for abit I popped the Binky and folded the blanket around her. she rocked her head back and forth a few times and got it to where you could not see her eyes. she likes to cover her face, somewhat like her dad. I assume to block any noise and or light to disturb her. and she was done. At about 5 am is when I hear her start to make some noise. so I made it through night #1 so hopefully this will continue and we can move on to another nights sleep with out worrying about little feet kicking me in the back! LOL
Also wanted to mention that yesterday was Liam's first day at the daycare center next to us. He had a wonderful time. We like to call it school. I call it this because one day while driving down the road he saw a yellow school bus and asked about it and the kids on the bus. I explained that the bus was taking the kids to school for the day. All was quite in the backseat for a while then I hear in this little voice" I want to got to school" I then explained to him that someday he would go. Me I'm thinking (please no, your growing up too fast and then soon when you have to go you'll hate it and I'll have to fight with you to go) So now when ever he sees a bus yellow he states that it's taking the kids to school and that he wanted to go. so now although he is not on a bus yet he's going to school. He seem to like it and now he will get a constant interaction with other kids his age. and perhaps get over this thing he has with running little people over because they are smaller. He has one friend down the road that does this to his sister and I assume this is where it has come from. So I hope this will come to an end.

Ok after being away for the long weekend and having to sleep with the little one between us in the boppy..... How do I now get her to sleep in her own bed?
Tried last night to only have her cry and Daddy get up and bring her to our bed. We will try again tonight to see if she will sleep by herself. I may have to see if I can put her down sleeping. To be allowed to sleep in my own bed with the hubby next to me and a couple cats at my feet. and not have these little feet kicking me on the shoulder... although sometimes it's nice other times not so much.

Skiing 101

I love this picture
So we are back from our skiing adventure....

the house was awesome: few pic's

for some reason I did not get one of the outside or the view? what's with that?

but here is the living room

the basement the master bedroom

the master bath and the view from above to Below!

here is the skiing rocket did not want to do anything but go down the hill as long as he was going down. It was so nice to hear the giggles and see the wonderful smile on his face as he yelled I'm skiing!!!
Liam was also goodwith the magic carpet and did not fall off . I think he got on at least 4 times. He shuffled his way on and sorta shuffled off at the top with help from mommy. I think he was so in aw of all the other people skiing that what mommy and daddy were trying to teach did not make it past the hard shel of the helmet he has on. LOL
But all in all he had a wonderful experience with it. Hopefull next year he will have a partner(The Bean)

Daddy did the actual skiing down the hill with him not sure I could have done that.

We had a wonderful time and I think ate too many peanut butter balls care of my friend Cara the recipe is on her blog as well as her partake in the land of snow!

let me just say those Peanut butter balls are wonderful.. I know I opened myself up right there but they were good! I think I gained 3 pds!!! That might have helped us with getting out of the snow bank we slid into on our way out. LOL (was abit slick on the road leaving the house) but we got out !! thank goodness

lastly one of us before we left the slopes! Hoping it was a nice vacation for everyone so we can go back again next year!

First Post of the New Year

So I'm sitting in my office looking down the vast openness of it to see only one other person here! when I came in this morning there were 6 now there are 2. then one of the bosses walks in Poop is all I thought so now there are 3 of us. No saying there is anything stopping me from leaving.. LOL but alas I sit here and try to do some work. printing out drawings , perusing over them checking for mistakes and inconsistencies that happen when two or more work on a single project. yet my mind still wanders to what do I want for lunch or what kind of sale may be going on on this web site or that. I read my friends list of things to accomplish in the new year and think I need to do that .. her list looks good maybe I can use that a a jump off point some of the things she want to do are similar to what I would like to do with a few changes here and there. I would love to go back to Thailand, would love to finish the projects that have started at the end of last year. 1. Liam's playroom, 2. the casework in the living room, paint the trim in the living room... what about the trim in Liam's room has not been painted since the new window when in over a year ago.. Sad, sad..... humm let see what else would I like to do this year... walk in the Susan G.Koman 60 mile walk that I was to do last year but was PG and could not do it. lose the baby fat and then some let say 30 pds or so. ok I guess I should start to write these down as I also have to steal them from my friend to tweak to fit moi
Thanks Cara for a great Idea!!
