Sadness

We lost one of our beloved pets yesterday. after 5 days of meds and force feeding she was not getting better. So in my sadness and seeing that she was getting worse, he hind end was not able to stand much, I took her to the vet again to be put to peace. Poor little thing was so thin and of course I cried the whole time. The Vet tried to put my mind at ease saying I was doing the right thing and at least we tried to make her better be fore deciding. So they took her away for about 5 min and then brought her back to me, wrapped. I took her home and we laid her to rest with Max and Mo under the dogwood tree.
The funny thing is is that when she was in her prime she was a complete bitch, LOL so bipolar it was not funny. we would warn people about her and say pet at your own risk! should have had a sign that said attack cat!
Will Miss her still

Just finished making the last of the three ice creams .. all I can say is yumm!!
So because each one turned out so wonderful I think I have panned on making three flavors for the family reunion we have coming up. Just have to think about flavors because the three I made this week- lemon lavender, strawberry blueberry and honeydew were and still are so wonderful. I was thinking at least to do a watermelon one. possibly a chocolate chip and not sure of the last. This next time I plan to take pictures.. not sure why I did not this time but will remember the next time.. sooo yummy

So we went to the fire department carnival the other night. had to be the first night it opened.. Liam would not let us not go. too funny. so we had a wonderful time Liam won about 4 stuffed animals and 2 goldfish. Dennis won twice on the spinning wheels that the fire department games so he walked away with 8.00 more than we had and a bucket of twizzlers.

so all in all it was a goodnight until the very last ride so to speak that Liam wanted to go on. It was the fun house... and Liam did not make it all the way thru like he did the first 5 times he went before.. he waited just a bit too long and pee'd in the fun house.. it was kinda funny but he was upset ...accidents happen but we had to go home now he was not happy. but he did not scream or cry just carried his two goldfish with his pee'd pants home.. feel sorry for the guy who will have to spray it out.. not like the place was really clean. but I knew something was wrong when his feet were going like he was in river dance and he kept banging into the glass walls there was an issue.

So I've been MIA but I have good reason... we were on a mini vacation. Liam was gone for about a month I went back in forth to Florida. And no there were not tar balls when i was there the water was beautiful.

we stayed at my grandparents condo now sorta my dads. Then we drove home and stopped at Sea world such a good time for Liam he was thrilled with all the sea animals. Unfortunately we were not able to see the Orca show due to her being pregnant and then we found out when we got back to the hotel she had died during the birth process. So sad. Poor thing this would explain why some of the park was closed for a while.

but we had a good tie and did not melt although at times it felt like we were going to. Liam even went on water ride where you get wet. Atlantis it was funny to see the picture of him next to his dad as he went down the hill to get splashed. so Cute!

Now I know why when I lived in Baltimore I did not go here! WOW what a fish bowl of Messed up people who really need some help. Thank goodness I did not go here before I would have moved out sooner! Totally felt like if I looked at someone I was going to get taken out so Looking at the floor and the market vendors was it. CRAZY people there and I was very much the minority there! not a place I will ever venture back to. Now cross Street market where I had lived about 4-5 block away totally different. and would gladly go back.

THANK YOU GOD for the rain .. my Little guy has had it rough for the past week. so puffy and breaking out. scratching and sneezing poor thing. today should help a whole lot. his allergies are getting the best of him so not liking the pollen right now hoping Avery will not develop the same allergies if not any.
Liam also still has the nut allergy so still not peanuts , which are a bean , and no tree nuts, not to mention he still has the cat.. and like I said the pollen.. so there than that things are good waiting for the tenant to call so i can go and give them the keys it's 10 pm I don't think it will be tonight so hopefully tomorrow...

Yeah some people would be happy even ecstatic to be in the paper not to mention on the front page.. be me hell NO!! don't get me wrong Liam looks too cute and lets keep the focus on him but I look ridicules my eyes are closed and I'm in mid speech of saying something to Liam so my face looks like I'm a bout to blow kisses to someone. Anyway Happy Easter! fat face!LOL

It was in a local paper for an Easter egg hunt in my mom's community Liam looks so cute happy and running to pick up an egg thank god he's partially covering me.

I get a call this morning from Anne Arundel county. they guy on the end of the line just states he's returning a call. Nothing about what the call was about so I assumed it was when I called on Friday to ask about a pothole I hit on Monday night in the rain with 2 kids in the back and got a flat tire. I was not the only one as 5 others hit the same spot and also got flats. So much that my husband told me they closed the ramp because so many people were hitting it and damaging there cars. This very responsive man(NOT) on the other end just sat there and waited for me to figure out why he was returning my call with out say who he was just that he was returning a call from some division. Then proceeded to tell me that with the weather the road conditions contract and expand like I was a 2 year old. and that they don't have insurance to cover such damage and I should call my insurance. I then proceeded to tell him I understood weather conditions and that I was not stupid. and that it was not just me there were at least 5 others with the same issue. and that if they thought they were maintaining the road it was a joke. considering I was snowed in for a week before the plow came thru. I then hung up and wrote an email to the county. Really I can't believe this guy he was just so condescending and acted like I was an idiot. so wanted to reach thru the phone and ring his neck!! so I was one of 5 that prob got the better deal of only paying 140.00 for a new tire. I think there were others that lost 2 tires and had more damage. so I guess I lucked out but what a jerk... I think MD needs to take a Field trip up to New England and see how snow removal is done... idiots!

So we or Liam had his DR. apt yesterday and they x-rayed his hand and decided to take the red weapon off!! we know have a splint! with 2 taped fingers...
the finger still is a bit blueish but not so bad. so we don't have the weapon of choice anymore!! feeew so glad he can't use it any more... hopefully we can now get splint off he seems to be dependant on it.

So I did what I think was 30 min of Yoga and stepped out side to possibly go walking with the 2 little ones in tow but Damn it's cold outside . So I'm sorta disappointed that it's an ice box out there do I wait till the afternoon? poo so wan t to get back out there.

On the plus side I have someone interested in our rental house but not at the price we are looking to rent so we are going to try to negotiate.

Not only that but I'm going to a concert.... Not only that the concert is.... (drum roll) ......

I'm so excited about the concert not that I'm not happy to be seeing my girlfriend but to be able to see two legends at the same time WOW!! and all made possible by my hubby!!
how wonderful is he he's the one that made the who;e thing happen behind the scenes with my girlfriend and then told me what was going on Happy Birthday to me and Valentines day all in one!! will have to figure out what to do for him.. can say what because he also reads my blog, HI HUNNY!!!

so now that I have got that off my chest.. things have been good here at the homestead. Being new to being a stay at home mom I sometimes wonder if I should be doing something I'm not.
should I be outside more?( it's freezing out) we have been out on the warmer times... should I have them on a more regimented schedule? wake up, dress, breakfast, play time , lunch, play, dinner ,bath nighttime.... I need to squeeze the exercise time in there for me... back to the walking/running.... how do I do that? being so cold and no money for the gym.... need to check that out or get a treadmill... then the issue is where to put it... no room LOL

anywhoo I also wonder about my clothes I believe I'm running out of in style items.. I;m never the one to wear dresses or skirts I prefer a pair of pants but I do like to get dressed everyonce and a while but right now it's been jeans and what ever nice looking top that does not have a stain... LOL so

Avery had her 15 month well and guess what I did not write a single height weight or anything down.. I also had both of them getting shots so it was Fun.. guess the crying distracted me from writing down the information. will have to call to ask. Will they give me that info? or think I'm strange for calling... O- well

Our first outing to the DC Museum!! had a wonderful time and I believe Liam was greatly interested in what was around him. We got there at about 11:00 missed the astronauts that were there guess they were only there for a short bit in the morning. and of course we missed them. sad... but all in all it was good.

So last Friday night Liam did as he always does and falls off the dining room chair at least once at my mom's no big deal he's done it a thousand times but NOOOO not this time
this time he comes up with tears in his eyes it hurts he says... I look at it he bends it we ice it and go on he cried a bit but not so much so I go and do what I do and Dennis then sees it It's now turning a bit blue and still swollen . He takes him to nighttime Peds and returns at midnight to say they were not sure but we need to call the ped in the morning to get a referral to an orthopedic. He now has a temp cast on one that is a half cast that is wrapped with 2 bandages and 2 butterflies to hold it closed. Saturday bright and early I call the ped and leave a message. Monday i get a call back from the Ped with a referral of who to call. I call the orthopedic and get an appointment for today wait and hour for the Dr. and yup it's a fracture and he can tell from the x-ray that night time ped took and could not tell Dennis it was broken... we now have our first cast .. a Red cast no less.. they did not have orange which was the first choice and now the pictures.. LOL Dennis trying to get a good one and Liam acting like a fool... LOL

Just realized I have not been here in a while almost a month!
YIKES.. being in the house for a few days only going out speraticly because of this awful frigid wind.. who wants to go out there? only if your crazy!!
and then on top of that I have this awful cold thing in my throat yuck!
SO we had a wonderful Christmas the kids got a lot.. Dennis and I did not do Christmas for each other and kept it really simple for those we needed to send gifts to.
As for New Years we went over to MY sister in-laws and played cards and games till the ball dropped I'm shocked Liam made it but as soon as we got in the car to head home he was out! but he told me he did not want to go to 2010.. it was funny.
so other than that we have been trying to stay warm from this freezing wind we have here in MD I don't mind the cold the wind just makes it unbearable... so I'm staying in as much as possible! stay warm people!!

So we got back from the Thanksgiving in Florida.

It was fun but I think too much time with my parents.. as usual we ended up getting in a fight. this Time my father and I about how I am bullying my son into potty training? his words not mine... humm pooping in his pants for 3 monthes.. and watching him try to hold it and getting him to that bathroom each time I see that he is straining to stop from pooping.. is not bulling. well in my opioin. so we had a wonderful time up till then and then in the last 2 or 3 days it was a strained being nice to each other. and of course because I was pissed and wanted to leave early.. I decided that Liam was not going to stay.. note that they never even asked me if he could but I knew it was something they wanted but I was never asked once. So I know my father was pissed he was not staying.. and of course it was Dennis faulyt because he is very controling and makes all the decisions in my life... Yeah right.

so on another note here are a few picture of the beach time we had

O- yeah Avery found her feet an has begun to take a few more steps with out holding on! we are doing very well!!

Well sorry I've been out of touch things just went to pot on Friday. After a wonderful lunch and great presentation in the office I was brought into a conference room and told I was the first to be let go. That things were slowing down and the company just did not have the money..... I was shocked! to say the least. I did not know what to say I actually did not say anything I was sooo just put out in another world sorta like you can hear them talking but you really just hear a muffle of words. So I packed up my things and left. My two friends at the office were shocked one did not even know I left. she found out later and called me. SO Lets Just say Friday the 13th was in true form! the next day I received a email from a girl who said there were letting more go .. and would let me know... not that I care but it was true to what I was told because others thought someone in the office complained about me and that's why I was let go. but I thought if they were to complain about me they would have come and talked to me to find out the whole story and not just one side and I would have gotten reprimanded or something.. Not that I'm an awful person in the office but I'm not quite when I don't like something. Some time my hubby says I need to turn it down... Any hoo
I've now became a SAHM for now until I find something else if I decide to return Not sure I want to? something part time would be nice... So.. and something closer that DC from where I live would be great no more hour drive... SO That is why I have been MIA.. I've been cleaning the house getting things straitened up and all the laundry done I can.. to then see if there is anything out there from me... Humm I need to get a schedule of what to do during the day. I think I'm going to start walking/running on days that are not too cold for the kids because I'll have to drag them along on the bike trail.. I can be in the house 24 -7 it's to small of a place... so any ideas.. as we don't have alot of money to join gyms and club although I would like to rejoin the SP mom's group but that's money I don't have .. so we'll see what happens.. O well that's like and here I go...

Avery Turns 1 in 6 day's!!

I'm having her party on the 17th. so far I have a few decorations up. and make the cake for the pops I'm going to make. I tried to make the french butter cream because it said I could store it for up to a week in the refrig. but I don't think it turned out like it's suppose to .. not sure what went wrong but as soon as I started to add the butter to the meringue it just went to poop. and then there was like water coming from it when I was mixing it like the meringue just broke down and did not incorporate in to the mix? so I think I can salvage it by adding more sugar and milk.. I'm going to adapt it to another recipe I found. I just can't see throwing away almost 2 pounds of butter!
So that's that and tonight is cookie night..... and the breaking down of the cake to form the pops. and veggie cutting!! I may even bake the Caterpillar and have it ready to decorate for Friday! since I have to bake chicken wings and pick up other things all on sat am. ... and get this....
My mother told me on Tuesday night that she would not be coming because she though it was next weekend and made plans to go to NYC with some friends.. So I did not make a big deal of it and said fine I'm going to have cake on the 21st which is her actual birthday so you can come over then.... did not want to make a big deal of if but come on you have known for a month when it is and now your telling me! then I was on face book and her friend said she was going to Mexico not NYC.. now I did not confirm what was going on this weekend but since she's not going with this friend who is she going to NYC with and is she going to NYC this weekend??? why does she need to fib to me I don't care what she does.. God what a pain in my ass!!
O- Well off to work and then prep more for the party!

Weekend Recap

So our day started off a bit cloudy and overcast although it was very warm in the morning. We too a walk down to the beach since we got to the condo at 2 am and could not see a thing. We got the kids dressed so we could take some pictures

Avery at the first touch did not like the cold sand.. but after a bit she was fine

And then with Liam Liam then decided to run with the waves.... picking up shells and watching the surfers go by

I tried to get Avery to keep her hat on

Then minutes later a wave tripped Liam and down he went... I thought he was going to freak but we were laughing so I guess he decided it was OK and continued on running.
Liam then wanted to build a sand castle but we did not get far as we did not bring any tools
I took this as Dennis and Liam walked ahead of me. you can see a bit of his little foot up on the top.
Next we went to Assatege ( as you can see I can't spell it) Island to see the horses and deer. this is after we waited for Liam to get up from his nap. I took a short nap as well.
But when he woke up we had wonderful surprises of lots of deer and Seka deer and ponies!
Since Sunday was a bit nicer than Sat we decided to try the bike riding on the board walk. We had attempted to do this on Sat. but the rain ..sprinkles were getting heaver as we were getting the bikes ready and decided to not do it. But Sunday was perfect!

Liam lasted about 2 blocks!! as you can see we strapped the bike to the back of the carrier. and Liam rode. Wailing most of the way down the boardwalk because he wanted the helmet that we rented back.. did not understand that it was not his.. so we had a nice siren all the way down.. sorta good people knew we were coming and may be would move? no not really don't get how people are so oblivious while walking down a boardwalk there like O- a bike!
Avery loved the ride and the oo's and ahhs as she passed by everyone.

He even had time to flirt with an older lady from the show and learned to wink!! too funnyThis is his attempt at winking!!

So my anniversary is coming up.... how long has it been... 6 years WOW how time flies and things change!
6 years ago I was:
Single about to marry
Hanging with other friends in down town Baltimore
Going out every weekend to the local bar and restaurants
Living in a 3 story town house
Had three cats
Working in Baltimore
No children
Cooking for 2
Eating fancy elegant foods
Staying at B&B's
Traveling at a moments notice

Now:
Married
hanging with my 2 kids
Go to restaurants with slides
Go to the park to watch my children run
I now live in the burbs
Eat foods that are simple and some time weird colors
Prep sippy cups and bottles
wipe snotty noses
get wonderful warm hugs and wet kisses

and I
Love every minute of it !!

So were heading to the beach for two days to run on the sand and collect some seashells! Hopefully get some good pictures maybe one for our Christmas card!

Tantrums... How do you deal?

So got a phone call this morning.. and in the background I can here my oldest screaming and crying. And he was on the second floor!
Daddy said it had been going on for about an hour. He had left Liam up in the Bathroom on the toilet where Liam had put himself but did not want to get up to brush his teeth. This and turning off the cartoons just before through him into a inconsolable crying fest. I could hear him sobbing... and Daddy did not do anything but tell him he had to go and he needed to get up and get ready.
So what is the course..
what do you do to make them stop the sobbing and get ready in the morning(now afternoon) the distraction of getting breakfast did not work either... he then became upset he was not able to put the toast in the toaster... deflecting or changing the reason why he was upset. which he was asked numerous times.... so do we need a new plan or do we stick to the walking away and ignoring until he calms down??
any help or ideas are greatly appreciated

So the day was wonderful and we had another awesome day at Larrland Farms. The Boo house was cute. and Liam ran thru it about 10 times. the Hay maze was wonderful I lost Liam about ... Every time.. LOL every time we go in together he was off like a shot and being a adult could not keep up or see when he turned a corner!! all you could see was the other parents looking for there own kids sorta like goffering in the office LOL but walking around call who evers name you were looking for.. too funny now that I think of it it would have been a funny shot! Headed over to the apple orchard and picked some apples... very few unless you were a tall giant and could reach the ones at the top!! thank goodness for the ladders... or a small pygmy could could skirt under the trees to the remaining tiny apples on the bottom.. Liam got most of those!! he also shared with his sister which was cute finding her Avery size apples! She was very happy with that! So after that we headed over to the pumpkin patch!! to look for the perfect pumpkin to carve!!! After some looking we did find it bug free and just a Little bit of mud.. nothing daddy could not clean off... We put it in the barrel along with the other 2 we could not live with out... seems as if we needed to take all the pumpkins... they all needed a home So we got a few and then we took a few pictures of our Pumpkins and then we were off to carve the pumpkin!! SO off were went home it was a good day at the Farm! Got home and Liam picked the design he wanted to do..... of course the most difficult one.. and they were off carving the pumpkin! Liam looks so enthused to be doing this... LOL he was at first putting out the seeds and putting them on the cookie sheet to bake but after that... it was a lost cause! The daddy got left because it was too boring watch daddy poke holes.. More interesting to watch football....or play football~!! This is the end result!! Then Added to the outside decor.. as you can see we still need to put siding on the right side of our house.... that's on the ground on the left that you can see but will be going up soon...

SO I've decided to let it go and stop nursing. I made it to 11 months this time.. Granted there is still milk in the freezer. But my body has decide to stop producing so I've let it go. Even with the fennel Greek it's not working I fell that I made it further than I did with Liam which is an accomplishment in itself so I'm not too sad to let it go we'll see how Avery does, it seems as if she does not care... So as long as she is good with it I think I am as well.... I've stopped pumping in the office about 2 days ago and have not had any repercussions so it will now be cutting the am feeding and evening.. I also have stopped the am one because she was sleeping thru a few times she has woken up but gone right back to sleep sooo we'll see how the weekend goes

Liam had a birthday party last week from school and I'm just posting it now! LOL it was a bouncy party so fun! wish I knew I could bounce but I did not bring socks O-well maybe next time! he did have soo much fun so maybe his party next year will be something similar???

then last Sat we went to the Terps Game my family's first unfortunately it started to rain at 3 when the game started at 3:30 so Liam and daddy went to see the game for a bit while Avery and I sat under the tent to stay dry. but here are some tailgate pic's from a friends tailgating area. they are serious!YUP that is a TV in the back of the truck!!Avery Taking a bath to finish the week! how coulds you hit something so cute? I was writing this comment to my friend and though humm this is something I can post.. It's about the times I come to the edge with my son.... How he just gets to be soo stubborn and not wanting to do anything that it brings me to the edge of insanity. I've now realized I have to walk away from him or bring him to his room and leave him there to scream at me or who ever until he calms down. I do this because I don't want to loose it on him in anyway and realize that the spankings that I've sometimes given him are not working. The yelling back does not work and I assume does not show I'm grown up either. So I've now taken to just moving him to his room and leaving him there to yell. Because the time out mat has become a place for him to just scream at me closer.
I move him to his room until he himself can calm down. I do this because I was sent pictures of children beaten. you know one of those chain letters well I now feel that I don't want to go there or ever get there.these infant who can not do anything to fend for them selves black and blue.. OMG just brings me to tears. And then I think I need therapy and maybe he does too does he at 3 need therapy? do we go together.... my husband seems to think I need it and has mentioned it at times now he talking about our son.... DO we go? I know he has my anger at what not sure but it's there.... hummm the edge such a high cliff and sometimes a not so pretty view

So the consignment sale was this past weekend and I made some MONEEEYYYY!! awesome!! got ride of a truck load of clothes and came back with only 2 bins!!
on the other hand I spent some money on getting things for this winter and next! LOL how can you pass up deals and on the 2nd day half price!! LOL

I've only been asking for about 5 years to go and Finally!!

LOOK!!!

I'm Here!! but you will not see any pictures of me here..... why , you ask.....

because I'm behind the camera!

so after about a 2 hour drive we got there at 11:30 to a drizzly day. Hoping that it would clear up , but sadly no it just kept sprinkling and then stop sprinkle, rain then stop, rain, sprinkle stop and so on and so on.

There were plenty of rides and I think Liam was on almost every one a Reese's could get on They called him a Reese height wise a kiss was prob like 30
" and then under that minis which I believe Avery is it was cute they measure the kids by the chocolate names.

We prob should have also asked some on to take a picture but it was rainy all day so you just wanted to get to the next point asap instead of talking with people. but on the other side of things the lines were very short or nonexistent!

first big spending and I think it was the only one was the Face painting I think we wanted it more at first but he was pleased as punch when it was done. a bit of coning to get the dragon because he wanted a green monster face and I was not having it.. very ugly .. but love the dragon!

doesn't her look cute!! to bad it lasted about 4 hours because the minute he wanted a game and we said no( because they have those carnival game type he cried which made the makeup run. but it was cute! getting out of the rain for a short bit saying hello to the kiss think it was the only character we saw... prob more on a nicer day. sleeping and trying to stay dry we put the umbrella over the stroller because I did not have one of those large pieces of plastic that make your kids look like there in a snow globe. but practical because they have been a bit dryer and warmer in it so one would wake up and the other would crash never at the same time!!

so this is about where the pictures end I think I hit every roller coster they had! I think the one went on twice is called heat? it starts at 78 mile !! too cool awesome ride the smoothest one was the bear it hung from the track very cool!!! not sure how fast that went.... I took Liam on a smaller one for the kisses?? then tried him out on the comet which is for the Reese's But he did not like it so he said. I think it was the first drop that have him the butterflies and that was the first time he's experienced that so not sure he liked it... but he liked the other one that he went on about 5 times so I tried to mover him up one there was another one that was newer that was prob smoother because the comet is a wood roller coaster and they are always more shaky in there ride so may be he would have liked loop-d-loop but that went upside down so not sure and I did not try after the comet although there was a girl in line that love both comment and loop and she was Liam's height not sure her age but, next time I think we left the park at about 9:30 after going to the museum .. more like a Disney ride not what Dennis thought about the factory and making of chocolate but they spit you out into the gift shop of chocolates and confections anything you could think of.. surprised they did not have a kiss hat would have love to see both kids in one of those not sure if there is such a thing but what a cute idea for kids!! any woo that's my Saturday at the park and hoping next year to make it a weekend because it really is a two day park we did not even go to the zoo area and the water park was closed( closes in Sept) so we did allot in the 9 hours we were there and I think we did really well in not buying much there because they don't let you bring anything in no food water or snack I even heard they sell baby food so you can't bring that in but I got 2 jars by? go figure they do have a area for picnicking outside the park but who wants to do that? so it was a good day considering the rain . My hubby was wonderful !

So I was a part of a swap.. My very first. and I was very surprised at my received swap. When I first opened the door I was like O-Shit it came back .... it was the very same box I had sent out. But upon furter inspection I found that the lable was different and my name was taped over.

So upon futher a du this is what I got!

SO as I opened the box the first thing I saw was of course the Jello cheese cake.. yummy and Yes, who doesn't love cheese cake!

I got some stickers becuase she likes to scrapebook I used to do some stamping but have sold most of my stuff I do have a few things left that I need to get rid of but I thought these were cool and Liam will get a kick out of the karate ones!

So as you can see Liam got home last night at about 6pm!!

It was so wonderful to feel those little arms around my neck hugging me so very tightly!(sniff) hearing him say Mommy and kissing my cheek( hope that never stops) O- the smile on his face so big and wide as the sun!

I don't think he could get out of the truck fast enough!

and in this very short month(although it felt so very Long) he looks like he's grown up so much!

hearing of him swimming with out his float and underwater and jumping in the pool and just splashing around... about his adventures at resturants and of course the goodwill that my mom visits every minut she can!

He talks like a little man in more than one complete sentence. not that he was not before but it's like you can have a whole conversation with him and it make since! O- it's so nice to have him back... to bad I had to come in to work today and not spend the day with him... but Daddy gets today and then I get Thursday when we go for his allergy test.. not looking forward to that. hopefully It's not going to be as bad as I think it will be? anyway

snuck in to his room before I left and he was so peacefully sleeping MUUUMMM

So my Husband has been working his tail off and this is what the results are.

SO he's about 75% done?

There just 2 more pieces for one under each window, doors for the cabinets below, some trim and paint and he's done!!

Then we can finish putting the crown molding up in the room and baseboards and I can touch up the paint around the room!!

Good Job!!! Woo hoo and I think it looks awesome!

Don't mind the clutter of toys and clothes those are all going to the consignment.. except for what is in the bins in the entertainment center.

So I'm taking the herb to see if anything happens... not sure it's only day three. does it happen quickly when you take herbs or does it take a week or so? the thing is I have not changed my routine at all so I'm not sure why my Supply is slowing down. I nurse in the morning before I leave for work I pump 2x's at work( what a pain in the butt, and I'm sure people here are like where the hell did she go for 30 min?) and then when I get home I nurse again one or 2 more times? So not sure why it's diminishing? use to be if I did not do it I would be in pain now I think I could go the whole day..... But I don't I keep going to my lovely closet and doing what I need to do.
So I'm on day three and not feeling any results just yet.....

OK so I'm seeing if this will work because Yes, I'm still BF Avery trying to get to the 1year mark... and my supply has diminished to almost none...
So I read that taking Fennelgreek would help. So I went to the drugstore and got some... hoping it will help if not then I guess we are done and I made it to about 10.5 months when I'm done with the frozen stash .
So I did better than I did with Liam so I guess that's an improvement?
O-well I guess there is not much else I can do? right?

ISR- Not a swim class

I just wanted to make sure that people understood that the ISR class is NOT a swim class. Its a survival class for any child or infant that would be around water and perhaps fall in... it's to teach the child what to do when a parent is not around or watching( not saying parents or guardians are not watching) but what the child learns is what to do until help comes.
please check out the site. ISR again this is not a swim class lessons are in 10 min intervals for a weeks so this is very intense. but teaches the child how to survive until help comes.

I think we have made it we have gone I think for about 4-5 nights with out Avery waking up at 2 am. I think we've done it and now for the test when Liam gets back to have them in the same room!

I just read a Post on my friends page about a child falling in a pool and makes me want to get Avery signed up even quicker to get her into the ISR classes. I would not know what to do if I lost a child that way thank goodness the child was fine. but to see a child underwater and they not know what to do... very scary. Sinking feeling
so Avery will be signed up by the end of the week for her first class!

I walked about 8 miles on Sun.
I was suppose to also walk 8 on Sat but the person who was suppose to come and meet me to do so bailed on me at 6:30 pm the night before and I did not see the email she sent until 8 the next day when she was suppose to be at my house, good thing i checked email that am because I usually don't go on the computer during the weekend... I find it very hard to.. so I think I walked like 3 miles by myself not sure because my pedometer is not working correctly. So I think it was 3?
any hoo did the 8 on Sunday.. hoping to work up to more they were doing 15 but I cut out early to got to a ISR Party ..
The place was amazing! this pool was insane...
Very nice
and All the parents there were part of this swim class well not a class because the instructor does it one child at a time and it's more a survival class if the child falls in the pool. So
I'm signing Avery up. Not because the woman almost attacked me about not putting her in but because I know she will be better for it and will know how to survive if she does fall in a boy of water.

It was amazing to see these babies -18 month old was the smallest besides Avery, to be swimming around with no fear and having a blast!
they were jumping in and just popping up like little fish and going to the edge of the pool it was so cool!! you really have to see it.

I think we have it.. she woke up at 4:30 not too bad...
although getting her down was a bit tough
she'd be asleep in my arms the minute she hit the sheets in her bed she was up. So Dennis tried his sleeping charms and the same thing but when he walked in she had cried for about 5 min and was out

SO I'm Involved in my very First Swap!!
So excited.... Now it suppose to be my favorite things.... does that mean from Here or just MY fav's? because growing up in RI my Fav's are a bit diffrent than the Fav's of where I live now.
SO I have to get this done and out by the end of the month .... Very excited to be doing this.

So last night I went to this place called the Road Runner ( click on the name to go to web page)
It was a recommendation by another walker that I go here, Because not only do they sell you the sneakers but they look at your feet. No I don't mean that they take a magnifying glass and look at your feet (gross) but they analyze the way you walk. very cool.
1st you walk across this gel mat so they can see the pressure points in your foot. Then they tape you walking on a tread mill for about 20 sec. and look at how you place your feet( this is all done bare foot)
It's very cool how they look and to see what they are looking for. so after that the employee was able to select a hoe right for me. he brought out 6 pairs!
I tried each on on individually then he told me to take one off and try them side by side... Never thought of this while trying on sneakers but duhh why would you not... so after that I selected my shoe and was off granted I paid 103. for the shoe but... I joined the VIP to get not only 1 discount but like 3 (one for being in the 3 day walk-DC)so I saved 30.00!! and Get this!! this is a real selling point If for any reason in 60 day's I don't like the sneaker It does not fit correctly or what ever I can bring it back!!!
and either get a new pair or my money back!
How awesome is that!
who wouldn't go to this place it's wonderful and if your in the Columbia , MD area there having a meeting for the DC walk on wed. 19th Aug they will have promotions and they guy even said they could prob discount the shoe even more if I bring the receipt back in!!

Night 7

So all is fine and well in sleep land UNTILLL... 2am!!!
she seems to think it's play time?? what the
I woke up to her crying and then all was fine when I was in the room I patted her back I shhusshed and rubbed her head. she was fine.. then proceeded to play with the mobile above.... turn around and look at her animals and pull on her blanket all was good I started to again walk backwards out of the room.... she fussed a bit and then settled down as she noticed me being further away.
I walked out of the room .....
she noticed I was gone and screamed.. and cried.. I let it go for about 10 min or so ...well it felt like 10 min.
went back in and patted shusshe and pulled her blanket up.... she was again fine and again proceeded to play in her crib
I again walked silently out of the room 2 min. later she noticed I was gone she cried( not as load) and then it started to fade..... aaa she put herself to sleep....
I got up at 5am
dressed for work
looked in at her she was slumped over on her legs not sure how that was comfortable?
Picked her up to nurse
then she was out again Not sure she even woke up....
put her back and she rolled over... haa I wish I could have crawled in there with her it looked O-So cozy! but alas I'm here at work!

night 4??? nope the 6th

SO this thing with her sleeping in her own bed going OK
getting her to fall asleep at 10-11 at night not so good.
she's tired .. she's rubbing her eyes , she's nuzzling
but no the minute I put her in her crib she's up and playing then crying and screaming.
I try not to pick her up out of the crib , rub her back , shhhh her but no that does not help
for a moment a glimmer I thought I was free... slowly taking steps backwards towards the door
Nope the Dam door creaked and were back to screaming. I stay in the room thinking just being there she'll calm down.. Nope more screaming I did not want to pick her up again fear of her getting use to getting picked up when she scream/ cry's when she wakes up
I lay on the floor hoping she'll calm down with me just being in the room
Nope screaming some more. then Daddy comes in and scoops her up and takes her down stairs...
I can still hear her screaming I think e put her in the swing... screaming some more.. not sure how long I fell asleep I think it was 11? Not sure.. still (Yawn )tired.....

Family Reunion!

Family reunion who does not love these!! So we had a fabulous time with swimming in the pool and filling our faces with wonderful food, that of course was all fat free... LOL not.

Liam was all tuckered out by the end of the day!

So here are a few pictures from the day.. and yeah I had to take about a million of my daughter as I dressed her in a pink tutu with butterfly wings!! Love it

my son then had to try them on! LOL

So Again this year ..it seems to happen at the same time each year even thought this is only the second time Liam has gone off with His grandparents for a vacation.. must be so nice to be able to just take off for about 3 weeks. LOL

so he's up in RI seeing my Godparents for the week and my Aunt. I have not seen my Godparents since I got married or even before that. So this is Liam's first meeting with them. I'm sure I'll be spoiled beyond belief and covered in Pawsocks paraphernalia from the ball park.

I asked that they bring me back a sicker for my car and sweatshirt or tee shirt. And of course they could send what ever they wanted back for Avery since she could not go with them. The when they get back from RI this week they will stop back here in MD and rest for a day hopefully then head down to Florida. for fun and sun on the gulf! OO to be so young and such a jet setter.... LOL was thinking we could fly down for a long weekend for a bit.. we'll have to see how it goes.

Night #3

Not so good as night 1 and 2 she was up at 2 and would not go back down I tried everything and would not pick her up. Dennis then took her down stairs so I could sleep till 5. Liam then woke up because he heard Avery and So we had a quire for a bit but everyone settled in at about 2:30 or so , well Dennis taking Avery down stairs and we were good. I nursed her at 5 and put her back in her bed I hope she slept a bit more.. will get an up date this morning with my morning call from Dennis.

Night #2

SO last night was #2
Avery fell asleep in the swing so I left her there and went to put big brother to bed in our room for the second night... I have a feeling that we are going to have issues when we have to move him back into his room.
and shower. I went back down to see how she was and she was still asleep. so I mentioned to daddy that I was heading to bead and if he came up in a few and she woke up I would nurse her and put her back down. That did not happen I woke up at 4:51 to her crying. SO I went into nurse her because it was time for me to get up in 9 minutes any way for work. She went back to sleep and I got dressed and left.
Night two seemed to go well. Dennis said she did wake at 1:30 but I don't remember hearing her, I supposedly hit Dennis to deal with her??? Did I? I don't remember???

EXPERIMENT NIGHT 1

So we took what the Ped. said and put it into action. we move Avery out of our room to her brothers room to see if we can get her to sleep thru the night. Liam moved into our room to "camp" with us for a few nights. So she would not wake him up and she could if she was going to cry it out if necessary.
She woke up at 2am and was standing in her crib.
I went in and shushed and rubbed her back laid her down a few times and comforted her without picking her up.
I left the room she was still crying a bit. I went back in at about 2:20 as she really did not settle down and did it again. this time I think she figured out I was not picking her up and started to rub hr eyes and slump over. she grabbed for her blankly and did her grunting that she does to sooth her self. she closed her eyes and drifted off. I then snuck out of the room. I flopped back in bead at 2:30 only to hear my hubby ask if she had just started...
Up at 5 am to get myself ready for work snuck around the room because now Liam is there and dressed. went into Liam's room at 5:15 and nursed her for about 6-8 minutes. she fell back to sleep in my arms and I put her back... will have to ask when she woke up this AM. so not so bad one time during the night we'll see what happens tonight if she will be able to sooth herself back to sleep or if she needs mommy.

Walking for a Cause

OK this past Sat was sorta a test... I did 15+ miles on the B & A Trail on Sat with some other wonderful ladies. We are walking for the 3 Day Breast Cancer walk on October 2-4
This past week I received an email about a training walk from Carrie. So I figure Ok why not I had not been able to join them the previous week which was only a 10 mile this one she had posted was to be a 12 mile. Not bad I thought I had done 5 or so and had been doing 2 miles a day at they gym by walking and running. So I thought hey why not.... She did post that people who had not done 9+ should not do this but I figured I could turn around when ever and go back.
So the start was good and when we got to the half way mark I was still fine. But We stopped and used the rest room and rested for about 10 minute. I'm thinking this was the down fall. I readjusted my toe ring that a felt rubbing on my other toe and then I was fine did not feel any hot spots on my feet. So I thought the shoe were good. so we got to the half way point and we turned around. We were right at my house I could have soo walked up the road to the house and be done with it but I thought no I'm committed to this and I'm going to finish.
So on the way back! I was good , I was feeling my upper legs not burn but the were like what the hell are you doing? LOL
then at about mile 10? I think I started to feel it.
My feet hurt. I started to fel a hot spot on my left foot but it was only a little thing not too bad. Kept going....
by this time the group of 4 I was walking with had pulled away from me.. sorta like when you watch those Olympic games and they say here's the point where they make there break away move.. that's how I felt they kept moving further and further away as I kept trekking on.
I got to a spot where there was a bench and rested for a while. Two others cam from behind me. They had stopped to used the bathroom. they again were going to use the rest room. I waited they got me more water. One Lady had an issue with her foot and shoe and broke off here to go home , she live off the trail as well.
I think at this point I was at mile 13? not sure. But from stopping I now felt it hot spot on my foot more and then there was one on the bottom of my foot same side.... and the ring on my other foot was not rubbing more.. Note to self take it off while walking.. So Carrie walked with me the rest of the way I made it back!! thanks to Carrie and her talking with me seemed to make it go by quicker. I got a nice surprise at the end... Dennis was there with the kids.. he came to meet me for lunch. so that was nice. At that time I did feel a bit light headed and queasy I believe due to the sun because by the time I was done it was about 1 and the sun was on the trail there was no shade. which is why it was good to start at 7:30 like we did because it was cooler and shaded..
so I was a bit discourage that I was feeling so crappy. but I did it! We went to lunch and I started to feel better. We went home and all took a nap, after I showered. and amazingly I felt no pain... Even on Sunday I was not sore... I did have those two blisters though and will be getting new shoes.. to work out in. but have made a few notes.
1. I have to walk longer distances
2. I need new shoes
3. I will prob meet and make new friends because of this
4. I know that I can walk with a Small backpack and be fine.
5. This will prob be a life changing experience and I look forward to it!

I got to consignment sales for my two Kids I love to go to them now since the first time we passed by the MOM's sale and Dennis said let just go look. Hook Line and sinker I 'm Hooked.
Now the issue is this year!! the MOM's sale is on the 19th of September.. the Consignment sale that I participate in Wee-Sale begins on the 17th and goes the weekend. I have worked the Wee-Sale twice already and this will be my third time this year! I also have begun to put some of my children's items in the sale to make up for what I purchase. Which sometimes does not balance it self out.
Humm how did that happen?
So the dilemma is that the MOM's sale is the same time as the Wee-Sale!!!

I would love to clone myself so that we could go to each one but I don't think that will happen by September?

If I hear it..... it's the thing I have to find to turn OFF before I do any sort of reading . If I can't find it , because everyone looks different I have to close the blog and forgo ever reading anything about that person.

ON sat I put my finger in Avery's Mouth to feel small bump that has already poked thru. Now I have yet to be able to see the actual tooth but It's there!! I have tied to get a picture to no avail but will try again to see if I can get a picture of that nice new pearly white!!

Enchanted Forest

So my husband went to this place when he was small. It then was closed down and left to disappear into the earth. Someone thought they needed to save it and when the property was sold the new owners told the Clark family( I think) to take what they wanted before they developed the ground where the Enchanted Forest stood.

May of the piece were move to it's new home on a farm in Elicot city. I was told not all pieces were brought. I guess some were just to badly damaged. Some were restored and some were recreated. the Houses I guess way back when you could go into but now you can only look in the windows and open doors. but the kids still have a good time running around from one house to the other and finding new things to look at.

It was funny Liam tried to pick up the pail of water that Jack and Jill dropped this was after he tried to help them up!

First just getting to NC was just sooo much fun!

you can see hubby likes to drive!!!NOT

Liam was a talker.. loving the hair twist!

we got to relax for a bit when we got there

then there was the Baptism the next morning at 9:30 and everyone was there on time and Justin was great!what a champ!

then we got to go back to the house for both the Baptism party and a Graduation party!

Good time by all and sooo many pictures!! Liam was great the whole day he did not have a nap the whole day and crashed at about 8 next to his sister who then woke up for a few hours then went back to sleep herself. I hear we missed the most exciting part of the party where the host got thrown into the pool!! Glad I was not there!! the pool got a bit damaged in the process soooo. but I hear everyone was good no fighting which I know can happen with the military guys.. Not saying it happens all the time but yeah know.
there was a point when the chopper flew over which was cool and then later that day the coast Guard chopper flew over the house a nd circled.. of course I don't have a picture of that but it was very cool for the kids Liam I know loved it and was waving. The picture would have been better too if I had my camera handy then.. O-well but the next day we got a private tour of Uncle chris' work. He takes apart and puts back together the choppers.So Liam got to get in the choppers and crawl all over them ,he was having so much fun he did not want to leave! SO it ws good even though we got home at 9:30 at night for Mommy to go to work at 5:20 this am and I sooo could not fall asleep last night! so this morning was lovely! LOL

So the day started out at 8 am to get the kids up and out of the house by 8:55 to get to our friends house for 9 for breakfast. waffles and ice cream!! yumm with the option of berries and of course sausage and bacon.. Yummm we sat in the backyard under the umbrella it was very nice

we then went to the front yard where we had our chairs set up for the parade! I think it was about and hour and a half parade it was very cool we had fire trucks and race cars and then of course all the boy scouts and the few military here and there. it was very nice and I think Liam had a wonderful time.. Avery slept through half of it not sure how with all the sirens screaming and loud music but she did!

SO this is what Santa does in the Summer! LOL

then we went home for a nap...

at about 4 we were off again with the boat to put in the water to meet back up with the same friends. anchored the boat and when to have lunch!

burgers and cold pasta salad and an aw some avocado and corn salad so yummy

then back out to the boats!! this all sound very hectic but it was not, it was actually very relaxing( the fact I had mojitos help as well )LOL

and sat out in the boats in the bay to watch the Annapolis fire works it was very cool and I think Liam was pooped because half way thru them he wanted to lay down. Avery on the other hand was already sound asleep after getting on the boat and never woke back up till about 5 am the next day.

we had a bit of a ride back to the dock after the fireworks that was a bit tedious with everyone rushing to get back all those boats in the water at 10 pm sorta scary if anything happened but we were good and it was not too bad.. a bit rough with all the waves but it was ok

we got back in and got the boat out and headed back to our friends. I at this point was tired and the kids were zonked.. so Dennis went in to say thaank you and goodnight and we headed home. I think my head hit the pillow at 11pm... feww what a day

but it was a good day and we had a whole lota fun!!

SO again this am there were words from my dad to my husband.. this all instigated from my wonderful(sarcastic) mother... she has not answered her phone until I call again at 12:30 when I received a call saying the nutritionist was at the house for my father and no one was there. This appointment was news to me and I could not help the lady on the other line since my mother decided not to answer her phone. SO I called her after I got off the phone with the lady who had the appointment and got I can't talk now I'm at MY therapy appointment.
so I shot at her well the nutritionist is at the house you should get your appointments strait and hung up. we'll see if she calls me back be cause I have a few choice words for her about what is going one and what is going to happen if it keeps up! I've had it with her meddling and getting my father to say nasty things to Dennis when I'm not around.
that's it it's going to stop or contact will end between us and I do mean the grand kids as well I'm done with the stress she constantly gives me.. it's like she thrives on making me miserable

MY LITTLE MAN IS 3!!!!

SO we had a very busy weekend... not one ... not 2 but three party's to go to .. well the last one was our Party for LIAM turning 3!!

So the first was a Birthday for his cousin he turned 9 we went to the bowling ally to play a little duck pins. the second was a graduation party of our friend... a wonderful cookout .. those fries were awesome! they had a ton of things for the kids a bouncer , slip and slid, a pool and water guns!! what fun the kids had but also the adults!! (cara I have picture if you want them)

then the big one was on Sunday ( well for Us) Liam turned 3

We went over to Poppy's for a pool party!

we had great fun Liam did not want to get out of the pool to have cake I had to tell him I was doing it with out him to get him over to blow out the candles but I go him out and pictures to boot!! it was a great weekend and an exhausting one as well but all in all it was a wonderful weekend!!

My husband asked me if I was going to keep putting the birthday hat on him each year and I said yes he's had it sence his first birthday and he'll be wearing it until he 35 or older!!

I think it's cute !!

SO yesterday was Hubby's last day at work..... after 13 years of work for the same company. Working his ass off for this company and doing what he can to keep it a float. they were down to 4 people not counting the owner because you really can't count him as a worker. The man comes in to do some billing and play solitaire on the computer all day and his day is from 1or 2 till about 4 .
do you really call that a day?
SO Bitter and pissed off Dennis came home last night.
But I think this is his opportunity to begin something new. and I know he can do it.
So he's going to take the few days off fishing and relaxing ... getting his thoughts strait...
helping me get Liam's Birthday stuff together and then we will figure our next step!

ON another Note I GOT MY NEW PHONE!!!!

OK I know it's early But...... AVERY is STANDING.... well she's holding herself up on the side of the coffee table but she id doing it by herself... I don't remember if this is on time or early at 7 months? well 7 and a half. she does not like to lay down and when ever she can pull her self up she does so. I will have to post a picture of her at the table but right now all I have is the one in her car seat of her standing in it holding on to the bar. of course daddy is behind her in case she slips but last night she wanted to stand and was reaching for all sorts of things on the table.! It was too cute!

Update on Liam and the potty.....
Well if Liam does not get his way in the morning he takes to peeing where he wants this time it was in his bed on his pillow! great!! wonder how that smelt last night while he slept on his pillow, Yes we cleaned it but you know the smell that lingers I'm going to have to put it in the wash if I can will have to go over to Mr. Bobbles to see if the pillow can be laundered?
So attempts at getting Liam up in the am are good and some times just a horror show.. you think we where killing or abusing the boy he screams so much... is this normal??

1st Movie

So We decided to take Liam to his first Movie.... and go see UP

It was hard to take a picture. I did not want to piss people off by taking it with a flash so here it is

I was great.. for a few moments... then for a while t was I want to go home... and some of the movie he was hugging dady because it was a bit loud or am I too old? and some of the scenes I think for a 3 year old might have been scary ie a huge pack of barking biting dogs.. then some airplanes shooting darts at the ballons and then there was the scare thunder storm.... so not sure how we did I know I had to get up because Avery lost her binkie and started to cry so I brought her out for a while and then stood in the entrance ally to see some of the remaining movie... but I thin all in all the first movie experience was good... can't say much for my wallet as they charge you the same amount for a matteni for a child as they do an adult... and there is no age under over thing??? so after that we went to the park where the planes come in and you can watch them. Liam played in th apark for a while and then we left I think he had a good day.

I felt like we all had a good day.

The way to a good morning wake up....
is when I get up to go into Liam's room turn on the light and turn on his CD player.
It has a CD in it about getting up out of bed and washing up and such...
I did that this am and he was great!! he actually got up out of bed ..
and turned off the radio LOL
and got back in bed!!
I asked what he did and he calmly told me he shut it off
I just said to him it's wake up music and turned it back on..
so I'll try it again next time because I was out of the house with out a fit thrown any where by 7am!! Woooohooo although getting out of Nana's house was a bit hard but I made it!!
so I'll have to see if this is the way to go but it looks like if I turn on the light and put on the music when i get up it may be a gentle way to wake up.. so we shall see if it was a fluck!

Ok How do you handle a 2 going on 3 year old standing in your kitchen screaming at you till his face turns pink? and why is he doing this.... because you got him up out of bed to go to Nana's or school for that matter?
He has changed his clothes 3 times once due to peeing on himself because you were holding him from Fit # 5 up stairs in his room. and another because e did not want those pants but shorts. and now he wants the pants back on? he does not want under ware, he does not want his shoes, he does not want juice and now he wants daddy... then5 min later he wants mommy!
count to ten....
he screams at you because it's time to go and you then put him in time out
he then proceeds to hit you
you pluck him
he screams again till he turns pink
and hits you
he kicks you as you put him back in time out from wiggling over away from the spot
you pluck him again he hits you( I get I may have to stop plucking because I think he thinks it's ok to Hit/ pluck?)
not sure how to get around this because swaking his hiny does not work either.....
this time out things is not working either....
he is now sobbing and pink I'm drained from trying to keep him in the time out spot
and it's only 7:05 am!!
I'm thinking he need to get up when I do so he's not rushed?
and go to bed earlier than 8pm?
so... what to do and then I get a nice post saying a follower was going to send my blog to someone because Avery is now sleeping thru the night.. it does get greener on one side but now it's pure Poop on the other? LOL
SOoo any ideas on how to not have this happen every morning because today it was the worst. it's usually crying and whining but today it was full force screaming and kicking
and it's not like it's sometime this is all the time and not like he's not getting up the same time everyday?
what to do.... wits end!
o- yeah I accidentally banged sons head on the door as I was bringing him into the bathroom to wash off after he peed on himself.. Doing great ... I should be awarded mom of the year for this first my daughter on the changing table and now my son head meet the door frame! forget the door is only 2foot wide not allot of room to get thru!
